Hi all, The July Loton events were different weren`t they? The paddock looked empty, that`s because we can get 35 bikes in the space of about 15 cars! Three new records set and a new FTD man. Records by Jon Goodwin( Ferrari 458) 58.83, Tom Walker (Sprite) 61.65 and Biil & Maggie Tuer( Morgan 3-W) 64.31 re-setting his own record which has stood since 1997! FTD on Saturday went to Nigel Morris in his black DJ (and white tie?) and Sunday to Andrew Nicholls in his Force. Nice to see a new FTD name in the frame !

Jon Goodwin was well pleased with his record!!!
I think he told everyone on the hill that he'd done it while on the way down. ;D

First time my wife Judi had marshalled at Loton (and only the second time anywhere). She commented how slickly the meeting ran, and was grateful to all the regulars for making her feel so much at home. Some issues about the briefing though I'll discuss with people privately.
